9 years

Today Brandon and I have been married for 9 years. It doesn't seem possible. We started dating in high school. Back then if you would have asked if I was going to marry him, I would have said yes in that naive teen-tone of voice. Little did I know that we would actually get married and have 2 children. He is such an important part of my life...I am really lucky to have such and awesome person in my life. Don't get me wrong...it isn't always perfect (but what marriage is?). Anyway, it's nice to have him by my side. So, if you read this and know us...let him know that I do say nice things about him from time to time. No really, I love him and couldn't make it without him.

Football Camp July 24th

Well, Braden is almost big enough to participate in Football Camp at HHS. The players and coaches have a camp for the kids in the community for a fundraiser. We had a good turnout this year. It took Braden awhile to get out there with his daddy, but when he did, he showed that blocking pad who was boss. Lexie spent her time practicing her round-offs.

CRBC back from camp.

We did a presentation for church of what happened at camp. The kids got up in front of the church and showed the 3 dramas that they learned. It was wonderful. It is amazing to see such young children praising God!

Going to camp...

This was Lexie first year to go to children's camp with CRBC. We had a blast. At some points of this trip, I think that the adults that were chaperones acted worse than the kids. We went horseback-riding, had a shambattle (capture the flag with flour bags as weapons), a waterballoon fight and had awesome worship every night. It was so much fun. I was able to meet and become close to alot of new people. I will definitely be going back with Lexie next year!!!

Attitude for the ride home...a little tired and irritable

Then she fell asleep.

Too Precious

I went into Braden's room Tuesday night and Lexie was reading to Braden. How sweet is that?

Happy 4th of July!!!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!!!

We went to Gindin and Susan's (Brandon's dad and stepmom) yesterday for the 4th. The kids went swimming, we ate BBQ and then went swimming some more.

And the holiday just isn't complete without WATERMELON!
